Wombmans reign
Waist beads have been around for centuries. Originating out of the Motherland of Africa, it is believed that waist beads came about during the 15th century in ancient Kemet (Egypt). African women use them as a symbol of
• femininity and sensuality
• to signify that they were of marrying age.
• as a weight measure
• when crystals and precious stones are added the waist beads then take on a healing and rejuvenating quality.
Different colors signify different meanings of the beads.
This particular waist bead was made for an expecting mommy. She chose the stretch cord with clasp so she can wear them throughout her pregnancy ,as well as, remove them when needed. The Charm is NOT included. The client gave it to me to add to her beads.
